Passion Week Schedule - São Charbel Connosco

The São Charbel Connosco Association is pleased to share the full calendar of liturgical celebrations for Passion Week, from Palm Sunday to Easter Mass. This sacred period offers a meaningful journey of prayer and reflection.

This year’s celebrations are particularly special, as the Apostolic Visitor for the Maronites in Europe, His Excellency Bishop Maroun Nasser El Gemayel, will be present throughout the entire week, presiding over the celebrations.

The program will begin with Palm Sunday Mass on 29 March at 11:00, which will take place at São Lourenço Church in Carnide (Lisbon 1600-584).

All other celebrations will be held at São Paulo Church, Cais do Sodré (Lisbon 1200-425), according to the following schedule:

  • Monday & Tuesday (30–31 March, 18:00): Prayer gatherings

  • Wednesday (1 April, 18:00): Rite of the Lamp

  • Thursday (2 April, 18:00): Washing of the Feet

  • Good Friday (3 April, 15:00): Adoration of the Cross

  • Saturday (4 April, 20:00): Easter Mass

The Association warmly invites all members of the community to take part in these celebrations and to share in this blessed week together.
